Here is the second variation of Visharu Adavu. The leg movements will remain the same throughout this Adavu, only the hands keep varying. Watch the video for Visharu Adavu second step here.
1. Be in Ardhamandala, with hands held close to the chest in Katakamukha.
2. Starting with the right side, stretch your right hand below the shoulder level with the Alapadma mudra. The left hand close to the chest in katakamukha. Tap the right leg. Say Ta.
3. Move your right hand up to the shoulder level from the above position. Tap your right leg slightly away from the previously tapped position. Say Tai
4. Now moving to the right side, bring the left leg behind right leg (crossed leg position or swastikam position of the feet). Along with this movement place your right hand above the head in katakamukha facing out. Say Tai.
5. From the crossed leg position lift your right leg and tap on the right side coming back to Ardhamandala position. Bring your hand down close to the chest in Katakamukha mudra. (Like in 1 above). Say Ta.
All that we did on the right side is repeated on the left side to complete Dhit Tai Tai Ta. The steps on the left side is described below:
6. Then Stretch your left hand below the shoulder level with the Alapadma mudra. The right hand close to the chest in katakamukha. Tap the left leg. Say Dhit.
7. Move your left hand up to the shoulder level from the above position. Tap your left leg slightly away from the previously tapped position. While the right hand and the right leg is unchanged. Say Tai
8. Now cross your right leg behind the left (crossed leg position or swastikam position of the feet). Along with this movement place your left hand above the head. Look up at your hands. Say Tai.
9. From the crossed leg position lift your left leg and tap on the left side coming back to Ardhamandala position. Bring your hands down close to the chest in Katakamukha mudra. Say Ta.
Here we complete one count for this step. So one count is equals to one set of Ta Tai Tai Ta dhit Tai Tai Ta
