Namaskaram maam, I am getting difficulties in practicing tattimetti adavu in druta kalam. Comparing to visharu adavu, tattimetti sollukattu seems a bit faster in druta. Kindly help
P.S. Do i need to practice more? Also thank you very much for this blog.

@Vishwa, both tatti metti and teermanam has been sung in a speed higher, because we often use them in 3 and 4 speeds. So what you are practicing is the 2,3 & 4 speeds.

My teacher had given me completely different steps for Tattu-mitu, whose bol is ” ta- ki-ta-ta-ka-di-mi’. Can you explain it? Besides, there is some difference in the adavu bols that i had learnt from my teacher. Is i due to Bengalicization?

  4. Anjali

@Rita, As far as bols are concerned, I guess she must be singing in Misra. I cannot comment about the steps unless I see them.
