Teermanam Adavu Seventh Variation

December 9th, 2008 by Anjali

Here is the seventh variation of Teermanam Adavu. You can also refer the explanation for the seventh step. The Bols of the step is “Tai Dhit Dhit Tai“.

The video aslo talks about the Natyarambha position. When the hands are stretched out at the shoulder level to the sides and the arms are slightly bent at the elbows we get the Natyarambha. Care should be taken that the elbows are tucked up. A student of Bharatanatyam from here onwards needs to practice this position. Perfection of the position is important. Thus the L shaped position of the hands practiced in this adavu follows the natyarambha technique.
