    Hello Anjali,

I was so pleased to see your website and various videos on it. For students like myself who are settled outside UK this is invaluable resource. I am a beginner and have had difficulties in find a teacher in UK. I have had on and off teachers but none consistent. I am so pleased with the videos on the website that it helps me keep up with the practice even in the absence of teachers!!

    Keep up the good work.

    God Bless You.

Thanks a lot for your blessings, Dr Vaishali. These words are so precious to me. I am proud of the fact that Indians abroad are taking lots of efforts to keep our rich culture alive. Salaam to all out there. Keep writing to me about your progress and any suggestion to improve on my part. Again Thank you very much

    Hi Anjali,

I am in New Jersey currently. I am a beginner to dance. I am glad having just discovered your website. I always wanted to learn classical dance. But being abroad(different countires) most of the time , it became almost impossible to accomplish my dream. This site is just perfect for me. I really appreciate the way you explain in detail. I almost feel like I am in the presence of a teacher while watching the video.

I am very serious about learning dance and I would gradually like to first learn the steps and then jathis and then atleast one song and then perform. Do you think that I will be able to do that through this site or am I being greedy. :-) Hence if possible please keep updating this site with more videos.

I just dont have enough words to thank you. My Best wishes to you.

Thanks Rani, for your good wishes. I wish may your dream come true very soon. And with such a strong desire and sincere efforts you will be able to give good performances in future. But do not hurry when learning Classical dance . It requires a lot of patience and practice on part of the student to master the this art . So best of luck. And I shall keep doing my best to help you all out there through this Blog.

pooja you must think of taking nattuvangam lessons. Your teacher can help you out with this. A Cd that come to my mind is “Nattuvangam- the cadence and conduct” by Bhagavathalu seetharama sarma. The Cd give a summary of nattuvangam.
