I wanted to know how different are these Adavu steps from the KalaKshetra style?
Sorry, but I don’t know much abt Bharatnatyam but I visit your blog since my daughter is learning the Kalakshetra style.
Anjali, you must have already seen some differences by now. Kalakshetra style has originated from Pandanallur style. They do not matter at all at a higher level. Let your daughter practice as her guru teaches. This site can be only be an added learning.
Thanks.
The reason I asked is b’cos when my daughter practices at home, there is no way I can tell whether she is doing it correctly or not
So, I was going to check the mudras, etc on your site which would have helped me correct my daughter’s mistakes
