    Hello Anjali,

I was so pleased to see your website and various videos on it. For students like myself who are settled outside UK this is invaluable resource. I am a beginner and have had difficulties in find a teacher in UK. I have had on and off teachers but none consistent. I am so pleased with the videos on the website that it helps me keep up with the practice even in the absence of teachers!!

    Keep up the good work.

    God Bless You.

    Hi Anjali,

I am in New Jersey currently. I am a beginner to dance. I am glad having just discovered your website. I always wanted to learn classical dance. But being abroad(different countires) most of the time , it became almost impossible to accomplish my dream. This site is just perfect for me. I really appreciate the way you explain in detail. I almost feel like I am in the presence of a teacher while watching the video.

I am very serious about learning dance and I would gradually like to first learn the steps and then jathis and then atleast one song and then perform. Do you think that I will be able to do that through this site or am I being greedy. :-)Hence if possible please keep updating this site with more videos.

I just dont have enough words to thank you. My Best wishes to you.

Thanks Rani, for your good wishes. I wish may your dream come true very soon. And with such a strong desire and sincere efforts you will be able to give good performances in future. But do not hurry when learning Classical dance . It requires a lot of patience and practice on part of the student to master the this art . So best of luck. And I shall keep doing my best to help you all out there through this Blog.

pooja you must think of taking nattuvangam lessons. Your teacher can help you out with this. A Cd that come to my mind is “Nattuvangam- the cadence and conduct” by Bhagavathalu seetharama sarma. The Cd give a summary of nattuvangam.

    Hello Anjali Madam,
I learned BHRATNATYAM for about 4 years and then had to leave it for my study pressure. i always wanted to join it again, but some time commitment hindered me. Whenever I saw a BHARATNATYAM dance being performed on T.V, I wanted to go back and join it again. 7 years passed, an urge within me suddenly came, and i wanted to learn BHARTNATYAM once again. And today, a very strong will power made me search it on the web, where i landed up discovering an online BHARATNATYAM website.
Madam, i really can’t express in words how happy and overjoyed I became. Finally, i could start learning BHARATNATYAM once again. I am very much grateful to you for taking initiative for making such a website. Thank You so so so so much ma’am. May God bless you with abundance of luck and joy..:-) :-)
And again, Thank you so much for making this website.

    Hello!
I am overwhelmed to see your websites and visit them very often. I am 15 years old and have been learning Bharatanatyam for the last 9 years. I have excelled in Alarippu, Jatiswaram, Shabdam, and Varnam. Now, I wish to progress and prepare myself for Arangetram after learning Thilanna and other items. Please suggest some ways for my preparations.

    Hi!
This website is indeed a blessing for many of us. Thanks a lot for this wonderful boon :)..
I have studied bharatanatyam for 6 years. We have our exams annually and i could not find any information on tattakali. It would be of great help if you could provide me with some notes on the same.
    Thank you!
